The whole group had a great time and would recommend Barcelona to anyone. We were a group of 14 who had a wide range of ages, but managed to keep all happy. The bars were not cheap, but all lively and the food was excellent. Due to the make up of the group we tended to eat out before going to a bar or Club. But the whole city is lovely and all will be coming back.

Outdoor Go Karting
 |
Your group will be picked up outside your hotel by your Henorita guide, and taken by coach or minibus to one of Europe's most spectacular outdoor go karting tracks outside Madrid near the Sierra mountains. The track is 975m long, with wide straights and tight bends, but you'll feel the full cut and thrust of a Formula 1 car as you jockey for position with your mates, in an attempt to zoom past with the foot fully down on the gas pedal.
Your Henorita guide will help you arrange the competition aspects - heats and finals, and make sure your equipment (helmets provided) is up to scratch. With 25 mins racing each, budding Lewis Hamiltons have plenty of scope to get up to speed. And if it's cold tarts you're after, a range of snacks and ices are on offer at the café-bar under the grandstand. |
Many go karting hens have been seen doing the professional racing thing and nursing a beer or burger on the grandstand terrace bar, running their fingers through their hair, maybe ruing an imaginary mechanical failure, a crucial missed gear, or simply regretting incompetent steering and faulty reflexes.
The daring Hen reaching the chequered flag first will be declared Go Kart Racing Champion, and carried back to the centre of town to be toasted out on the town, maybe (rather naughtily) at the Foxy Fiesta later that night.
Whether they return to Siesta or Fiesta, hens go karting in Madrid have said this is one of the most thrilling days out you can have, all set against the glorious backdrop of the beautiful Madrid mountains (snow-capped in winter). For thrilling Madrid hen activities you can hardly beat it.
The Outdoor Grand Prix is not available during wet weather as the track becomes too dangerous to drive on and will be closed. For this reason, our Location Director will make a decision the day before your trip as to whether to switch the event to the Indoor Karting Track. This will be based on The Spanish Met Office weather forecast one or two days before the activity. Any price difference will be refunded. |

Henorita's Hint:
You'll be racing on an outside track. Either rub in some sun cream on legs and arms, or take a long sleeved shirt and trousers to stop the sunburn. Also, wear some trainers for the pedal action, and sunglasses from the rubber and track dirt that gets kicked up by the karts in front of you (in front of me?).
